Leo的碎碎唸......

一個自言自語的地方

Busy

I was very busy in the last few weeks. There are many assignments, tests and projects and all of them are very difficult.

Unfortunately, I'll be busy until X'mas. Now, my workload from school is so large that new tasks always come before finishing the old tasks. So, there is really not enough for revision of the new stuffs.

Maybe I have to do many things at the same time, the outcome of all of tasks are unsatisfactory, especially for the test results, which are extremely poor. Therefore, from now on, I must try my best to cope with these difficult tasks although I may not be able to do them well.

Finally, I want to write about my progress in learning English this year. Although my progress is not significant, I have improved my speaking skill a little. I'm able to express some simple ideas now. But I think it is still my weakest part in English. Hence, I must focus on listening and speaking skills. I hope these skills can have more improvement after completing this English course.

In my opinion, for Hong Kong students, English seems to be easier to learn compared with Japanese. Firstly, we have learned English for years in our school. At least we can get something regardless our level in school before. Secondly, the grammar and sentence structure of English is simpler. It is more casual that we don't need to consider so much on the situation before we write and speak. Also, there are more chances for us to explore to English than Japanese in Hong Kong.

However, there are still a considerable portion of students including me claim that English is more difficult to learn. I think this is the matter of interest. People always tend to have better progress in learning the subjects that they're interest in. So, in order to improve our English ability, we need to be interested in English first. In my point of view, increasing my interest in English is difficult. Teachers always say that relating our daily lives to English stuffs is the best way to do so. But it doesn't work for me. So, I 'm still finding another way that will make me interested in English.

In addition, I've found that most of the abilities required by the society are boring recently. An example is that business knowledge is vital for most of the high-powered jobs in Hong Kong. But I don't think that how to run a company, promote a good or how does the business world change are interesting at all.

Finally, I would like to say although things are difficult, through working hard and supporting each other, I believe we can cope with it in one day.
